South Pleasantburg Nursery is the largest independent garden center in Greenville SC, and the oldest in the Upstate (60 years and counting!). We’re known for our beautiful property bordered on one side by a scenic stretch of the Reedy River, for our large variety of hard-to-find perennials, shrubs, trees, and natives, and for a knowledgeable team who loves helping you find success. Our landscape design and landscape installation team members pride themselves on helping you make your yard beautiful, whether we’re just delivering and installing plants you purchase or implementing a full-scale design.

I just had my back yard and entryway landscaped by them. They turned my sad back yard into a beautiful botanical garden !! Josh created a lovely plan and helped me choose the right plants. Then Dallas and Brandon arrived and worked for 3 days making the plan come alive. Every one was friendly, polite and professional. Amazing nursery with professional, knowledgeable staff! The grounds are beautiful with all the well-tended, colorful, lush flowers and plants. So enticing - I want one of everything! And a huge variety of houseplants that are well-cared for! We have a water feature with a pond in our yard and purchase our water lilies, pond plants and supplies here. We are new at this and the staff is so helpful with teaching me how to prepare the plants for the pond. Their plants are good sized, well-established plants so they do great as soon as they are planted (in pots) in the pond.

I really enjoy the nursery. They have a great variety of plants at reasonable prices. The staff knows their stuff and very willing to answer questions and help you out. I have attended a few classes and enjoyed them very much.

My family loves shopping at South Pleasantburg Nursery! We drive almost 30mins to shop here. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. The plant selection is excellent and there’s always more to look at each visit. Whether I’m shopping for perennials, shrubs, trees, annuals, indoor plants or garden ornaments, I always seem to find what I’m looking for (& usually more!)
