This season, we’re launching a 6-part yearlong ‘Grow Your Own Hot Sauce’ class series, and the first class is officially on the calendar! Class 1: “Seed Starting, Planning, and Goals” is all about setting the foundation for a successful pepper and vegetable gardening season. We will be offering this class on two separate dates. Get hands-on and create your own bonsai while learning the basics of this ancient art. Curious about bonsai but not sure where to start? This hands-on class is the perfect introduction! We'll walk you through bonsai basics—from choosing the right plant to pruning, styling, and care. Then, you’ll create your very own bonsai to take home, with guidance every step of the way. Come learn about blueberries and make all your neighbors jelly!! In the Blueberry Bonanza class, we will go over the different types and cultivars of blueberry bushes that do well in the upstate. Stop guessing and start clipping with confidence! Davis will lead a tour through the nursery demonstrating proper pruning techniques for thinning, shaping, and directing growth on a number of landscape specimens, including plants that require a little extra care to maximize form, flowering, and potential fruit or berry production.
