South Pleasantburg Nursery has been “down in the hole”, for 48+ years and thank much of that to people shopping locally. The industry has waxed and waned like the tides, but we’ve stood strong against the diverse economic times of the 70’s 90’s and today!
We like to return the favor, when we can! We now have some really excellent locally made products including bird houses, “hyper tuffa” pottery and fairy garden accessories. Beyond our zip code, we also try our hardest to select regionally grown plants. On the occasion that we do order from afar, we make sure that we haven’t found it anywhere closer.

This sweet fairy door was made locally by a Koi Club member and all around nice guy. The hardware is genuine repurposed from old homes!
Of course not 100% of the 8 acres are locally sourced, but we try our hardest. You’d be surprised if you look around how much we find locally!
